Introduction

In January 2009, Manish Patel started a few wine and beer retail stores in Mumbai and wanted to accept card payments from customers. Manish realized that the terms such as terminal charges, bank rates, transaction fee, infrastructure requirements were extremely onerous for a small merchant. Add to this, the typical neighborhood store model in India of home delivery, conventional landline based POS terminal proved useless.

This lead to a pursuit for a better and more cost effective POS solution.

Mswipe's mobile swiper is the only solution which enables feature phones to be used as a mobile POS today.

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

Manish is the CEO of Mswipe and has 20 years of experience leading sales. Prior to Mswipe, he co-founded Milestone Merchandise, an Alcobev distribution company with FY012 sales of Rs 140 crores. Manish has a degree in Medicine from Mumbai University.

Nikhil Kothary
Executive Director

Nikhil is the Executive Director of Mswipe and brings over 20 years of experience in technology. Prior to Mswipe, he started Viraat Technology Labs which provides technology products sand services to the logistics, security and telecoms sectors and whose clients include Lufthansa Cargo Fed Ex, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and others. Nikhil is a BE(Electronics) from Mumbai University.

Srinivas Rao
Chief Commercial Officer

Srinivas brings over 20 years of experience in Payment Technology. Prior to Mswipe, he co-founded Prizm Payments and was Business Head – Sales focused on ATM and Merchant Acquiring. Before founding Prizm Payments, he was with Euronet India and NCR India, which focused on ATMs and ATM Outsourcing. Srinivas holds a Management & Engineering degree.

Chaitanya Rathi
Chief Operating Officer

Chaitanya is the COO of Mswipe and has years of experience in developing and growing service businesses. Prior to Mswipe, he worked as an Associate Vice President at Sula Vineyards where he successfully led a Rs 25 crore service business. Chaitanya has a Masters degree in Food Technology from the UK.

Yogesh Mistry
Chief Technology Officer

Yogesh brings over 15 years of experience in Information Technology. Prior to Mswipe, he started Kshitij Infotech which provided IT Software solutions and support on various Technological platforms to customers across India. He has rich experience of developing and deploying Enterprise Resource Planning software for retail as well as manufacturing industry on the latest Microsoft .Net platform. He is abreast with all the latest mobile and networking technology.

Sachin Patil
General Manager - Operations

Sachin graduated from Mumbai University in the year 2000 and he has an MSCE Certification in the year 2000, with an overall experience of 15 years. His expertise lies in Operations and Support Management and Technical related work.

Satish Nallaru
Chief Engineer Mobile Applications

Satish is the Chief Engineer of Mobile Applications. Satish has over 7 plus years of experience in analysis, design, implementation and testing of software applications . Satish has built applications across mobile platforms including iOS, J2ME,Android, Symbian, BlackBerry, Motorola and Windows Mobile, and has a proven record of success in bringing new products to market. Satish has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Sciences from the University of Bangalore.

Nitin Kapoor
General Manager - Merchant Acquiring

Nitin is the Head Merchant Acquisition. Nitin has 20 years of Front line sales experience and been working in the merchant acquisition industry pan India. His key client relationships include Corporation Bank, State Bank of India, Citibank and American Express. Prior to Mswipe, Nitin worked with leading payment processing company Prizm Payments leading the teams for the entire North and East Regions.
